    The Pre-reading Moodle assignment type allows learners to upload written work and receive detailed feedback. The work may be for any course in which they are enrolled.

    The Moodle Team Assignment is a new Moodle Assignment type for the Moodle learning management system that allows students to organise themselves into teams of 1 or more students for the purpose of completing an assignment. A team submission (which may consist of one or more files) is then submitted to Moodle for marking by the teacher. When the teacher marks the submission they can grade the students with a single team mark. If necessary, 1 or more team members can be given individual marks.

    Lightwork is a marking tool for marking and managing student assignments. In addition to making the process more efficient, it also aims to encourage 'good' marking practices. The tool is implemented as a rich client Java application that integrates with the Moodle learning management system. The Lightwork software is open source and the latest version can be downloaded from the Files page.
